You should be fine with anything really, as long as it is clean and neat looking you wont get any problems.
Church’s and other religious type places might have a bit of a problem with certain things, like Knees showing, shoulders showing, Tattoos showing, so when you plan to visit them, might be worth while to wear some long shorts and a t-shirt.
For most of the dinners and that anything with a collar will be fine, polo-shirts to button ups, even suits, on my tour a lot of the guys had suits or jackets and slacks. Might be an idea to bring something like that along.
Also a nice pair of shoes would be a good idea.- 0 people like this

I believe in Monte Carlo for the casinos you have to wear shoes (no sneakers) and pants and a nice shirt for guys or a nice outfit for girls.
Churches, particularly the Vatican you need to have your feet covered (no sandals), shoulders covered, and knees covered.- 0 people like this

For Monte Carlo, I wore beige shorts, a pair of black Lacoste slip ons(pretty much the same as the Vans slip-ons everyone has), and a white/blue striped polo and had no problems.
From my experience it really seemed more to be about clean and neat than what you wore. Mind you I was one of the more casually dressed people that night, but that was more because it was one of the guys Birthdays, so everyone put on their best gear.- 0 people like this

For chruches modest dress. no tank tops, no shorts. Sandals are actually ok. Unless that has changed. I wore sandals and saw many others with them as well. Besides who went around way back when wearing sandals and a robe? LOL Some of the night clubs in certain areas also want guys to wear clacks and a button up shirt, one we went to in Rome was like that. Take at least one nice outfit you will want it for going out. See my list for packing tips for men.
