WHY DO I NEED A VISA TO GO IN TO AUSTRALIA??

Yes you need a visa to come to Australia. There are a bunch of different types the most common being the tourist visa (think it lasts 3 months). Australian immigration and customs are very strict so you don’t want to arrive without one. As to why you need one, well you just do thats the rules!

If they tell you that you need a visa and you don’t have one you won’t get into the country, simple as. It’s just the rules. Each country decide it for themselves so comparing countries is pretty pointless. Take a look on the emirates site-they have a link that you can use to determine what type of visa you need, if any. Else look on the website for the Australian consulate in the USA.
