Another Question

I read that for some trips it is useful to bring a sleeping bag because of bed bugs etc. Is this the case for Australia as well?

Does anyone have a preferred type? Blanket vs. sleeping bag?

I asked contiki about this for the Outback Adventure tour and they said no because they already supply the ‘swags’ but I would double check with contiki for your tour :) just in case :)

I didn’t use Contiki when I went to Australia, but I didn’t find any problems in the beds, and we stayed in some not so sweet places. I think you will be fine, and won’t want to lug around a sleeping bag.
