International Passenger Departure Fee???

Does anyone remember paying this fee at the airport? it's supposed to be NZ$25.

Yes its $25 for departure and they attach a barcode sticker to your boarding pass.
Auckland Airport will scrap the departure fee
in July 08, incorporating the charge into existing ticket taxes.- 0 people like this

Hi
I went to NZ in late Oct last year flying into and from c/church airport.When
you arrive at the airport there is a huge counter where you pay the departure tax.They put a sticker on your itinerary which you then show as you go through departures.

just check with your travel agent as well.. as they may have already paid this.. but when you check in the person at the counter will tell you if it has been paid or not..
