Euro Discovery -Winter clothes

hey all!!!

i am going on this tour late jan.... as i am from Australia i am not use to the euro winters.

So can other aus contikiers who have gone on this tour ( or simmalar) could you please let me know what clothes you took or wished to took ... and any other tips you can give me

  i havent been to europe but went to NYC in winter, and i know its all about layering.
  thermals and then just layers over the top.
  coz you get inside and all the places are heated but outside is cold.
  
  so like normal winter clothes that you would wear in aus (jeans, trackies jumper shirts or long sleeve shirts) all with the added warmth of thermals underneath – you can get them from stores like kathmandu (im in melbourne)
  
  and then definitely make sure you have a winter jacket (pref water proof) hat scarf gloves etc
  
  it will be cold and nothing like what we are used to in aus !
