How much time is spent in the group?

Just wondering how much time is spent with the group doing activities (ex. sightseeing tour, etc.) vs. time that you have to yourself, where you are able/need to figure out what you want to do?

Usually you get a city tour when you first get to a city – sometimes by bus and sometimes by foot. Otherwise you’re pretty much free from the group. Aside from meeting up for optionals, meals and transportation.
