We are coming into Cairo really early on the 9th (due to flight schedules) and will have some extra time and then staying on an additional day instead of leaving on the 16 (thinking of seeing Alexandria that day). From July 17-22 we will be in Istanbul and Cappadocia.

I live part year in Cyprus it is a great place in the summer, spring and autumn best times for not screamingly hot. Have a great time.
