Camping advice for girls

To any girls out there who've done the camping tour in Europe - is there any girl-specific advice that you think should be shared around? E.g. safety in clubs and bars, personal grooming tips, what facilities are available..? I mean is it a good idea to take cold wax strips :-S Sorry for being graphic, but it'll help me decide :(
