Any advice- European Horizons April 2011

I'm going on the European Horizons tour in April and just want to know if anyone has any tips/advice for me?
Important things I shouldnt forget to pack, how much money (and what currency!) to take
How much do you think I'd spend a day, trying to budget here and have no idea what I'll be spending
Also, whats the weather like in april?
