  I’d like to know this too. I’m thinking that 1000 AUD for 6 days will be enough to eat drink and sightsee (Think it’s about 650 or so GBP)….. but everyone says London is mega expensive

  London is expensive but it’s also really easy to save money. Food is the best place to start. you can obviously buy cheap food from supermarkets like asda, tesco, sainsbury’s etc or if you want a cheap pub meal do to a J D Weatherspoons, not the greatest but heaps cheap and the beer is cheap too.

  For the tube you can buy a off peak or peak daily card which saves you money on the tube.

  If you stay in a hostel you could have a good time on about 100 pounds a day, but its easy to do it cheaper.
