Best way to get here and there???

Hi, I only have 2 days in London and want to jam in as much as I can. On one of the days I have booked a Wimbledon tour (check in at 11.30am) and a Jack the Ripper tour at 6pm (meeting at Aldgate East Underground Station) and on the same day I want to squeeze in St Pauls Cathedral and a squiz at Buckingham Palace. Does anyone know the best method of transport for this - I don't know whether to get a Hop on, hop off pass plus pay for the tube to go to Wimbledon - or should I get a tube pass for the day?
