London Explorer 3 or 5 days?

Hey guys
I will be going to The USA next September, my father said he might be able to get me a good deal withan around the world flight, so i was thinking before NYC i would go to London and i want to spend afew days there but not have to spend alot of money as i will be in USA for 7 weeks... Anyway i will get to the point, would it be worth it to spend an extra $200AUD for the 5 day London Explorer tour or is the 3 day worth it??...
