  I don’t remember anyone being stopped for their carry-ons for the tour I did. It’s more a question of space as you’re either going to have to fit it under your seat or store it in the rack above.

  I bought a cheap backpack and took that with me on the bus for the tour. I also used that for the couple of overnight stays we had where we couldn’t access our suitcases.
