Packing for Sep/Oct in Europe??

28 Jun 2011 lesha99 asked

I'm doing the European Escapade on the 17th of September ending on the 11th of October 2011. I'm wondering what kind of weather i should be packing for. I realise it's Autum but will it still be summery or does it get colder. I'm also staying a couple of weeks in the UK at the end of the trip so will it be quite cold there by October?? I was thinking of taking one pair of jeans and a couple pairs of leggings to throw on under a skirt or something on a cooler day, and one rain jacket. Will this be enough?

Any advice is appreciated :)

I think you should take some more warmer clothes. Countries north like UK, Germany, etc will be cold. I remember when i was in Europe in October last, was 2009-in Berlin it was snowing and absolutely freezing (which is where I went and bought a snow jacket and subsequently wore when out) and the same in Czech Republic, which was even colder, and snowing there as well.
