camping vs. budget trip

Any advice re. camping vs budget trips?? I'd love to see as much as possible, so I'm tempted to go for longer and camp, but I'm not sure what the camping's all about... a little nervous about the thought of staying in a tent for a month or more!!! Anyone have any experience/insight for me? thx!

I had the same dialemma way back when I was deciding… In the end, I opted to forgo “comfort” and take the opportunity to see as much as I can. I don’t think camping will be that bad, you have an air mattress – and from what I’ve heard about the bed-bugs in the hostels, I think I’m better off in a tent.
