Turkey or Croatia?

My girlfriend and I are looking at doing a tour starting next May (it'll be my second Contiki) and we're divided over whether to do the European Adventurer or the Ultimate European. She wants to see Croatia and Dubrovnik, I want to see Gallipoli, Troy and Istanbul.
Any thoughts on which is better if you had to chose between the two?
