I wasn't the only one who wanted to leave my tour!

After doing much research after returning from my tour, I learned about many customers who left their tours in disappointment, and I assume there are many out there who desperately wanted to leave their tour but did not. This is RED FLAG contiki, if you have customers leaving there tours and returning home. You must really sit down, listen to your clients, and correct your mistakes. If people are willing to leave a tour after spending thousands of dollars which is not refundable, your company has many flaws. I will never be recommending a Contiki tour to anyone after my nightmare traveling with Contiki

    I am curious to know why you wanted to leave your tour? You say you want contiki to correct their mistakes but you don’t give any reason as to what was wrong with your trip.

    Personally if you understand what contiki is all about and dont expect it to be like an independent holiday you’ll have fun… Curiosu to know why you hated it though

    Why would you research AFTER your tour?
    Isn’t that something that you would do before it so you know what your getting yourself into?

    I have read all the reviews so i have heard all the good and bad aspects of contiki. Interesting enough i can’t find a single tour company that doesn’t have a complaint about it. I guess if you go awear of what could go wrong and just take every situation one step at a time and just make the most of your holiday and ignore all the rest then the should be no reason to leave. I have specific things that i want to see and nothing is going to make me want to leave the tour

    I have been reading many reviews these last few days as I want to have realistic expectations when my tour starts in July. I guess most of the bad reviews focus on false advertising and bad recommendations (for optionals) also many complaints are of the tour managers’ attitudes….I guess your experience is based on not only your expectations and attitude but also the attitudes of the other tour members as well as the tour manager…I really really hope my tour has a cool manager cos I don’t wanna regret this trip

    Explorer1232720 i know how you feel. I don’t want to regret my trip either. Mine starts in July as well and i am starting to get nervous. I guess i know what i am expecting i just have to make the best of the situation

    everyone i know (which is alot of ppl) have loved every bit of contiki. I think the research should have been done before you went on the tour. So im super keen to go in afew weeks time.

    I had such a great time that I didn’t want to leave my tour when it was over!!! I had a great tour manager and coach driver though, a cool roommate and there was a great group ambiance! Other than two really annoying girls who were always late and making all of us (49 people!) wait… we had a blast! :)

    Do research before, because it’s always better to lower your expectations and be exalted later though. Or, reserve any possible tickets that might not be included to avoid any lineups later! :)
