How much extra do you have to pay to have a room to yourself?
I'm in Orlando,fl and so far from what I've seen flights to Rome are a bit expensive. Can contiki help you find dome good flight rates?
When you book a trip do you have to pay at once or can you pay in installments?
Thanks for helping & I look forward to reading your replies

Hi there, I’m not 100 percent sure but I think its something like a couple hundred bucks extra to have your own room, although that amount probably varies depending on the length of the tour. I’m pretty sure they explain it to some degree in the brochure that you can get from ur travel agent. I don’t think Contiki can help you with flights but ur travel agent will generally find you the best possible price, also if your looking for cheaper flights look for the ones that have 1 or more connections, somehow these are usually cheaper. The travel time is usually significantly longer but thats what you have to put up with for the cheaper price. As far as paying for the tour you definitely don’t have to pay all at once. I think there is a down deposit of around 200 dollars and you have to pay fully something like 6 weeks before the tour leaves. I usually book my tours months in advance so I am able to go in every couple weeks or so and put down a couple hundred dollars or whatever. Hope I was able to help you a bit. If you haven’t yet got urself a good travel agent, definitely do so. I’m not to familiar with travel companies in the US but I use Flight Centre here in Canada and my rep is absolutely outstanding.

When I booked my trip I did it through the website, click the get quote button, it will put you in touch with a contiki booking agent. Mine was very helpfull, answered all of my questions pretty quickly (sometimes the same day!) Like James I only had to pay a $200 deposit to confirm my booking after that you can pay it off in installments until the deadline. As for flights you can book flights through your booking agent if you ask they will send you the cheapest rates they have.
Hope that helps

It depends on the tour and the season you are going in. I’m going for a week and paid $225CAD for a single supplement. It actually says in the brochure on the side of the page how much the supplement is per tour.
