  I am hoping to get my leave approved at work this week but I should be booking onto this tour in the near future :) How long are you travelling for all up? You just hitting up LA, NY, Vegas, along with San Fran which is on the tour?

  I’m from Perth and will be travelling alone as well. At this stage, I’ll probably be in LA for 2 days before the tour, and in NY for a day after… You made any plans in those cities pre and post tour yet?

  I am now officially confirmed this on tour too :) Second big solo overseas trip for me – I did 3.5 months going around Europe and to Egypt 2 years ago.

  Haven’t worked out my pre and post tour accommodation yet. Likely to be 2 days in LA pre and 1 day in NY post as I’ll be in NYC for 4 days earlier on in my trip visiting a mate. Is everyone just staying at the Contiki hotels before and after the tour?

  Yeah Facebook group sounds good! Worked really well for the 45-day Ultimate European Tour I did in 2009 as we got to know each other and organise things well in advance :) Good to know there is a few of us staying pre and post so I won’t be wandering around LA & NY by myself!
