Any excursions that are a must do?

I'm looking at all the options while on the tour, and I'm curious which ones are best. Did anyone do the ghost train show? I'm wondering if that's a good show...or not worth seeing? Any advice will be helpful!!

  My favorite was the scuba diving in Cairns. The reef is an amazing experience. If you the time and money before your trip, I recommend getting your certs. My thoughts were that if I didn’t want to look back later in life on all the missed diving opportunities in my travels.
  
  Also, each town you stop at is universally known for something. Cairns for diving, and the rainforests. Fraser for mackenzie bay, whitsunday islands for the sailing. Just make sure that each destination you experience the reason you are there. Some people on the tour didn’t do the fraser 4wd ride. They missed out on a unique experience.

  Thanks for your response! I agree the Great Barrier Reed is a must! I’m actually already PADI Open Water certified, and I’ve booked a 2 night 2 day trip out on a boat at the end of my tour to complete my Advanced certification. And thanks for the recommendations…I’ve decided to for sure do a day sail on the Whitsundays and the 4-wheel adventure on Frasier Island! I’m so excited!!! I leave in 3 weeks from today!! <!--graemlin::)-->
