  I havent heard of the grand national… but honestly, you simply cannot miss the Royal National, its HUGE.
  There are a few Double decker bus tours which use the Royal as a starting point.
  
  The contiki Basement is located on the far side of Royal National. If you want into the royal, you will see London Coffee on your left, this is the actual meeting point for tours. keep walking to the other side of the court yard, hang a left and walk for 15 meters, you will see some stairs heading down. thats the contiki basement.
  
  Always a staff member in there who is keen to help, plus they have computers, pay them a couple pounds and you can have a certain amount of time on a laptop

  Just arrived to the Royal National Hotel pre tour accommodation and it is disgusting. There is a tampon wrapper on the bathroom floor, dust on the toilet, and we requested a double and can only get a twin. My advise is stay somewhere else!!!!!!!!
