Pack as little as you can. Comfortable shoes are a must. Tevas work well as well as chacos and keen. Forget the heels trust me about broke my ankle with heels, the TM didn’t tell us it was a 3 mile (jog) walk to the metro then up a huge hill to the dinner theater. LOL Athens is a laid back city, wear something breathable and loose fitting it gets hot there. I was there in Sept and it was 80Deg ugh. The clothing shops in the Plaka distric in Athens have awesome stuff and cheap (never pay full price).
If you can find light weight travel clothing would be best. Convertable (zip off legs)pants are exellent for the area. Try looking at Rei for ideas.- 0 people like this
