I’m not sure if I should just buy my ticket anyway and hope that it turns into a definite departure or wait a little longer, I looked online yesterday and the prices are fairly good for airfare. Can I ask beckybc where you’re flying from? I’m flying out of San Francisco.

  Hey! Are you doing the tour that leaves from Sydney and ends in Darwin? Because that tour is guaranteed! But the reverse isn’t yet – it leaves Feb 22nd from Darwin. I’m flying from Vancouver with a stopover in LA, I booked my flights through Contiki and got a fairly good price plus a free Sydney Explorer package, so it was definitely the better deal! I think my flight was $1700 altogether :)

  I’m doing the Aussie Explorer, I travel from England 18th Feb to Bangkok to Sydney, then to Darwin. The tour should start 22nd Feb!!! Can’t wait!! Hopefully meet some of you!! =)

  I would have mentioned if we arrived at the same time we can try to meet up at the airport and take a shuttle together to the hotel, but I get in an hour later.
  This is actually my first Contiki trip and I’m also alone so no need to be nervous, it will be an amazing trip!
  As for luggage, I’m taking one luggage and a backpack, I’ll be staying a little longer in Sydney so I need luggage. I can give you my email if you like, let me know.

  im not booking this tour, but just had to weigh in and say for sure do the sailing option if anyone is thnking about it! i went to Australia with contiki in the summer of 2011 and as crazy as the sailing was it was so much fun!!! im sure you will all have a blast!
