In 2004, I did my first Contiki of Europe with my partner at the time, and both of us enjoyed ourselves.

This January, we did a New Zealand tour together and once again had an amazing time. The good thing is that you can choose to do things together, as part of the bigger group OR with selected friends you make. It’s your choice. As long as you and your partner are comfortable giving each other space (or not, if that’s what you like!) you’ll be fine.

That being said, my partner HAS done one tour on his own which he loved, and said it was a totally different experience — and I’m probably going to be doing a USA tour myself next year.

I think it’s suitable for everyone. You’ll have a blast.
