Hawaii stopover nov 2011 anybody?

hey guys the europe tour im planning on doesnt start up again until spring.. and since i dont feel like going there for the pissy weather i thought in the meantime i might go to hawaii im craving sun!!!!!!! so i am a 25 year old M solo traveller from canada , all my friends seem to be either married/having kids or busy with work / school so they cant just drop everything and go.
the only issue i have with going solo is.... im a social person.... i dont wanna sit by myself ... and i really dont think groups of travellers that arent on a tour but are on their private vacations would want me intruding on their trip. all like "HEY GUYS CAN I TAG ALONG ? " how awkward would that be?.. so i thought contiki would be the way to go.. spend 5 days with solo travellers my age partying then maybe another 5 at some resort in maui or something solo.. anyway im just wondering if anyone is going in november sometime.. i think ill be going no later then the 15th... get back to me :D

havent booked anything yet , basically i can go whenever i feel like it just seein whos doing the tour , if i find a good crowd ill book in with those folks

I have booked in for the honolulu 4 night trip starting on the 12th, and im a solo traveller too! Im sure the sun and sand will make everyone happy and sociable :)

Hey Jeff, have you decided when to go? I was in similar situation. I am a 25 M solo traveler grew up in Vancouver, working in the Chicago now though. I am heading to Hawaii on 24th thanksgiving long weekend.

probably around the 26th , just gunna hit the good old USA for their black friday sale first , i think its the 25th ,

I suggest booking the two trips separately. Book your trip from LA to Hawaii, then book another from Hawaii to Japan or Australia.
