Hollywood to Anaheim, Midtown to JFK

Hi Guys, I am going on the Grand Southern on May 5 (only 30 sleeps till i leave! WOO!!) and we have a couple of extra days in LA and NY either side. I am staying at Best Western Hollywood (on Franklin Ave) and was wondering if two things...
1) From the Airport, is it cheaper to take a taxi (there are two of us) or to get a bus/shuttle thing...?
and 2) We will have to leave pretty early on the morning of the tour to get to Anaheim, again same question... is there a bus route that will run that early or is it best to brave the cost of a taxi.

And a similar question for NYC... We are staying in Midtown in NYC, is there a bus that goes to JFK Airport or would it be better to catch a taxi there?
