Central Hotel Kriens-anyone stayed here?

this is the 2nd hotel for Lucerne in the Winter Wonderer tour in Dec. Very bad reviews on this hotel and one of them is a traveller on Contiki tour as well.

is it really this bad? is it worth getting our own breakfast instead of the hotel/lodge's one then?
