hi, is anyone going on this trip???

as it is st patricks day the night before i wondered how many people will be staying at the holiday inn before the start of the tour who fancied a few drinks ??? i knoiw we will probably have a meeting that day , just be nice to start to talk to some on the trp.

Didnt realise it was st paddys then, not booked in at the holiday inn but would be up for drinks the night before with everyone. going to be flying into sydney around a week before the tour starts too.

Hello!!! I am from England too. I’m guessing everyone will cone on here and get in touch nearer to the time as everyone seems to be focused upto feb at the mo. I’m in Sydney four days before too. I’m thinking there will be a few people!?

I went on this trip last year and it’s amazing. The holiday inn your staying at is next to loads of bars etc so you will have a fun st. Patrick’s night don’t worry

I’m flying from melboure on the saturday morning and doing the Sydney harbour bridge walk if any1s up it then I’m up for partying Saturday night I would luv to meet up for a few drinks to get to know u guys it will be an ice breaker if we know each other before we start! Oh my goodness guys, im fingers crossed booking this trip today, Im doing Nz first and then heading to Aus, and will be in aus the night before the trip so would be good to meet up with u all. WIll let you all know once ive sorted all travel stuff etc

Hello everyone. Love the fact everyone introducing themselves in advance. I am going to be at the holiday inn from the morning of the 17th but actually in sydney from the 14th. Already arranged to meet up with a few of you from here but anyone welcome to join in with us. Im thinking we might be starting the tour off with a hangover after the night on the 17th!!! I am still currently trying to cut down the HUGE pile of clothes i have to bring with me (girls this is for you…. are you taking heels? im thinking just 1 pair as a back up) i have allowed just over $100 a day, is this around what everyone else has too??? cant wait to meet everyone, 1 month and counting. cosmo xxx

I’ll probably take 1 pair of heels. I’ve been on 2 Contikis before and both times ended up wearing heels on just one of the nights. They’re nice to have as a back up though :) Whatever you think you need for clothes, cut it at least in half ;) I scale down on every trip and I still end up with loads I didnt wear and hating how heavy my bag is ;)
Is everyone going to the kick off meeting on the Saturday? My flight only gets in at 3 so I’m not sure if I’ll make it in time for that.

In the back of the brochure the start of all Sydney tour departures are from holiday inn Potts point. I added
A nights accomidation before the tour through Contiki and it’s at the holiday inn Potts point. X
