Hey!
I’ll be going, I’ve only seen one other person going so far. Are you taking the coach from London?

Well, hopefully some other people will be there too haha.
I’ll be meeting everyone there. The trip there would have been fun but a bit inconvenient.:D

Hey,
I am going to book this tomorrow or the day after, just want to find out exactly when the bus would be departing from London and if I am staying afterwards in Austria.
Also has anyone heard about the food there? Is it better to buy lift tickets by way of Contiki or from the hill when you get there. ( i.e. single day as you go skiing, or half day tickets or buy all at once for 6 days.
Anyway I hope to hear from everyone soon…ps if you know answers to any of my questions it would be hugely appreciated.

Hi!
Glad to hear you’ll be joining us!
I’m not sure about the bus times (I’m meeting there) or the food, but I am getting half board because my agent said its sometimes difficult to get foods on Sundays or something. As for the lift ticket, I booked mine here just to save the hassle of getting it there! But I think in general, a pass for the whole week would be cheaper than day by day. It’s not long now! My holiday starts in 2 weeks! Looking forward to seeing ya :)

Hey,
Amanda, thanks I am still trying to decide what flight I want meet there i.e. fly into Munich or London. I have heard there is limited visa/debt in that area so it is best to bring cash as well. You are likely right a full pass is better than day by day.
Have you ski or snowboard before?

I’ll keep that in mind! I’ve seen other people say the same thing…
I have snowboarded for about a day and a half…so not really! I’m basically a complete beginner, but from what I did, it was pretty fun.
How about you?Amanda

I’m from Aus! Obviously not much snow down here…
I would love to go to Canada one day, if I ever get any better at snowboarding. I know some people that have gone there and say its awesome.:)

Everyone speaks English in Europe, and that area is particularly nice, and are typically happy to practice their English with you. I am sure you will be fine at whatever ski resort you end up at.

Hi guys :-)
My bf and I will be joining you guys on the 21st! VERY EXCITED!!
We are flying in to Munich then will be travelling by train to Worgl, where we will wait for the transfer coach to collect us.
We are staying for 2 weeks, have taken the half board option and booked our ski passes through Contiki. Just insures less hassle and more skiing once there (agree with Amanda) ;-)Looking forward to meeting y’all!
Cheers.

Hey! I’m doing it as well. Also from Aus, it’s my last point of call of my trip so I’m really looking forward to making the most of it!
Amanda, I’m also meeting everyone there, should arrive around midday hopefully from Salzburg! I booked the half-board too, less hassle. I’ve never been skiing before…should be interesting haha.

Hey, everyone I booked my flight and the trip today…..I am comming from Toronto to London. Doing the one week tour, then doing some more skiing somewhere else in Austria and then Munich….but with the tour..it is going to be good times….
If you want some info about where we are skiing go here, http://www.skiwelt.at/en/winter/the-ski-resort-skiwelt-wilder-kaiser-brixental.html it seems like a big ski area, I am assuming our passes that contiki is selling (which is about 40 dollars more than what you would pay if bought directly at the hill) is good for the whole ski area…..
Kitzbul is not too far, and so are some of the other villages so good parties at night…..Anyway, this will be a great trip…now just to get past the next week or two of work

I’m coming from St. John’s , Newfoundland, I get to London the morning of the 19th. Spending the night there then off to Austria the 20th for 1 week, then I’m meeting friends in London for a week.
Like Jason said, it seems like there’s a good party every night from the reviews I’ve read. Looking forward to it.
Who wants to step up and create a facebook group?

Hey,
Since we are in a village in the mountians ( i am sure there are tons of bars) but i am thinking everyone should bring a bottle of something with them, that way we can drink if we want back at the cabin….just a idea..
Mallory your comming from the gold coast, I have heard of it a few times…I will trade you a small jar of vegemite for some maple syrup…if you have room in your luggage, I love that stuff just only on bread its good…alright love migth be pushing it, more like like..
ps i looked on facebook still no luck, for some reasion….
But yes I am sure there or better be some good boze, skiing/snowboarding does make a person tired but I am not comming on this trip to sleep…just saying….
Simon and Bill, looking forward to it, you will have to give us the overview of the place……
Andrew, are you flying Air Transat…I booked it for dirt cheep…you know we have to be at the Royal National by 6….or the bus leaves at 6 or something like that…
I am not going to lie, but I am a week away from the airport and not too close to the trip even starting but this is going to be a Awesome Trip…
I offer to pick up a bottle of duty free Wiskey….
