I’m from America….Boston to be exact! I’m flying there on the 3rd and getting there on the 4th and don’t we meet that evening and then it starts the following day, correct? But I’m sure we’ll all go out that night for dinner or something…do they have fireworks for July 4th…or is it just an American holiday? I just got back from Egypt two days ago and I’ve already started packing for my Europe trip…can’t wait!

Well I’ve been on a few. So since we’re going for three weeks I suggest a 29-inch luggage. Because if your a shopper like I am you’ll want to bring items back plus for all your nice clothes going there! Only one luggage is allowed. I have a portable luggage scale you can use when your packing up so you won’t exceed the weight limit. Also bring a purse or mini bag to carry around with you on foot as well as a mini duffel bag or backpack to keep on the coach/bus filled with snacks and stuff. I always pack a million snacks from home with me. Because you never know when will eat and you may get hungry and food out there can get pretty costly. And it’s all perishable so you won’t be bringing it back with you so it’s okay to bring a lot because you won’t be bringing any of it back so more room for your gifts. But try to not over pack. It is quite hard. I always bring an extra tote….empty and toss it in my suitcase. Just in case your luggage is too filled coming home you can fill your tote with some of your belongings and bring it on the plane with you. ;) I also pack water. I know it sounds crazy and a bit of a hassle but it helps in the long run!
I hope this helps and now my question….I’m kind of nervous about the bungy jumping. I like adventurous things but I don’t want to break my neck. What are you girls going to do?
Nicki my advice to you when you go on a tour with a friend to mingle with everyone not just your friend. I noticed many buddies tour together but don’t always mingle with everyone else. But if you have me on your tour which you do…. I’ll bring you into the mix anywho! I always showcase the shy ones….not saying your shy! Just giving you input on how all my other tours have went.
We’re all on this tour for three weeks and we’ll all become one big happy, crazy family! You guys will love it! I extended my tour at the end to see London because the tour doesn’t include it. Also I’m bringing one credit card for emergencies and one debit card but I’m thinking….how much in cash because it is a long trip. At the kiosk in the mall I will trade my money before I leave but I’m wondering how much should I cash out to start with. Any suggestions?

Hey Rose, thanks for the luggage tips! Since my friend and I are going together we’re gonna try to split up the packing a bit (no point in me taking certain things that she’s taking too). Hopefully that’ll keep our luggage as light as possible. I have a feeling I’ll have a lot of stuff to bring back, so I need as much extra room as I can get haha.
I’m really nervous about the bungy jumping too. It’s something I’ve wanted to do since I was a little kid, so I’m going to try and push myself to do it as much as possible. I think I’d really regret skipping it out of fear. The things you’re afraid of are usually the most fun! lol
My friend and I are definitely the type to get out and meet everyone. I’m probably the shyer of the two of us, but I still love meeting new people and I think as long as there are a few outgoing people around we’ll all have a good time.
We’re staying in London at the end too! I’m not quite sure for how long…it might just be for an extra night or something, but still, we can get out and see the city a bit.
I went to Europe when I was in high school and I’m pretty sure I relied on my credit card, but I was just in London and Paris. With all that travelling it’s probably smarter to have cash on hand in case I can’t use my credit or debit. I heard that the transaction fees for using debit can really start to stack up and that it’s smarter to just take out chunks of cash when you can. I don’t know how comfortable I am walking around with much cash on me though. I’m not really sure what to do about that either.
