Bring or not to bring???

1 Feb 2012 NicoleCooke asked

Hi guys just have a few questions on what to bring and what not to bring???!
I am booked on for the european experience and after my tour I will be staying in the uk on a working visa. So wasnt sure if I should bring some of these things??

-Sleeping Bag?
-High heels?
-Hair Dryer?
-Hair straightner?
any information would be greatly appreciated?

It depends when your travelling and what kind of tour. To pillow and sheets, big no. Sleeping bag – yes if your on a camping tour and no if youre on a concept or hotel tour. Heels, I’d say one or two pairs – you do go out alot on Contiki so you want to look nice! Hair dryer no – most hotels have them and if not, just air-dry! Straightener I’d say yes, doesnt take much room in your bag!

Once you settle in the UK you can buy or borrow anything you may have left at home. Never overpack!

This is a budget tour, so – you do need a sleeping bag, no sheets, don’t think you need a pillow.
You don’t need high heels but you will want some sort of dressier shoe.
Hair dryer, if you want to dry your hair yes. Straightener, if you want to straighten your hair yes. But you wont have a lot of time for that so if it’s something you only do occasionally then you might want to skip it.
