Northern Trecker July 9th 2012?

Hu Guys,
Just wondering if anyone had booked on the Northern Trecker leaving athens on the 9th of July? I was meant to be doing it with a mate, but he had to bail :-( but am still super excited! Did a winter wanderer a couple of years ago and just hope this is as much, if not more fun!
If anyone has booked, where are you staying the night before, got a few options from contiki, but not sure which one...they suggested either Hotel Candia or Athens International Youth Hostel.
Anyways, let me know what other have planned.
