Hiya
It really does depend. I did the Grand Southern. We did go out quite a bit.
Quite a few girls brought dresses. But nothing extremely fancy.
I mainly packed jeans, shorts, smart pants and some sneakers and one or two pairs of smart shoes.
I was fine with that. The only reason I didn’t take a dress was that I was scared of taking things that would either crease or things that I would only wear once.
My best advice is … take things that are light, do not really crease and take things that are practical and things that can be easily dressed up.
