thats tough. I actually just got home from a tour and I used a suitcase. It was very convenient because I could just roll it around..but sometimes there was stairs and I wouldn’t want to wait for the lift so it was tough to haul it up the stairs.
Though I would only suggest bringing a backpack if you were to go off on your own before/after the tour.
