London

What were your favorite things to see? Favorite pubs?
Safety tips...other tips?
I posted on the London Explorer forum but it is a bit dead, so I figured I'd post here since many people have London incorporated into their trips.
Thanks

I really liked that you got vouchers for everything I got to decide what day you went to stonehenge and the theater. Also with the theater ticket you get a choice of about 10 show. I also found that london is really easy to get around with the tube or buses.

With the London Explorer, as its unescorted does that mean if you are travelling solo you’ll be alone the whole time? Unless of course you meet people? I’m thinking of doing this for a couple of days but don’t want to be stuck having to go to like the musical alone because I think that would be more fun to go to with someone.

Dimplez – Yes send me a private message and I can answer your questions.
Explorer – The trip is unescorted so you are not with a group so you could be doing some things by yourself. However there are lots of solo travellers so you could always meet up with others.- 0 people like this

I had no problems with either hotel. However I found the room at the Imerpial to be a bit bigger and nicer.

Hey Dimplez, Wow there is so much to do in London really.
Firstly I recommend searching for “London” topics in this forum as there are several threads with useful information on here.
Personally, for a first time London traveler I would suggest going to see the touristy favourites like Piccadilly Circus, Big Ben, St Paul’s Cathedral, Leicester Square (which is where the theaters are), The London Eye, Trafalgar Square, and some of the many great museums like the British, Science & War museums.
Feel free to message me if you require any further information.

No it doesnt you have to organise it yourself. You get a Ticket to a West End musical and bus passes for the Open top bus sightseeing tour which takes you around London. The Stonehenge is extras we have to book to go see.
