  I’m on the tour that starts on 15th of July (LA to NY) this is my first Contiki and i’m also travelling alone!!

  Really excited about the trip. A friend of mine went on a 30 day European Contiki and said you should have heaps of free time to do your own thing if you like!

  I fly into LA the day before then fly back to Aus the day after.

  Can’t wait to meet everyone :)

  I’ve paid for the tour but haven’t paid for my air fare as yet. I’ve been told the flight centre has a sale in Feb so I’m holding off till then. Is there a forum for this trip? I’ve got the contiki ‘shout’ app on my phone. It’s pretty good, everyone should get it :)

  heya, me and my sis are doing the BoUSA start 15 july from LA too. see ya all there. re post-tour plans…we’re doing Washington DC day trip after the tour…think it’s like $150 … which seems ok. yay 6 months now … can’t wait!

  Karolinka, yes I’m planning to do the same when I get the pack through. I booked the extra nights to stay in the hotels that we are staying in for the tour. I wish I was staying even longer, there is too much to do!

  The hotel we’re staying at in LA is called The DoubleTree Downtown and it looks really nice. Im flying in on the afternoon of the 14th so il be around in the evening :) . Id imagine most of us would flying in on that day so we should all definitely do something together that night.

  Gareth – just had a quick browse on their website…wow the hotel does look sweet! i thought it wouldve been a backpackers lodge or something? AND its close to santa monica so perfect!

  i think we definitely all should catch up before hand :) i think once everyone has everything sorted to let each other know of their times of flights etc so we can organise something fun! ughh cant wait to be jet lagged haha !

  P.S is anyone else doing any other tours besides the BOUSA?
