Egypt & The Nile in Oct or Nov?

Hey there,
I'm thinking of booking the Egypt and The Nile trip in either Oct. or Nov. and was wondering if anyone else is booking in either of these months?
Also, I'm a bit concerned about the civil unrest in Egypt at the moment, and how safe the trip will be. Does anyone know anything about the security on the trip?
I've been looking into Contiki, but notice it doesn't tell you the hotels you will be staying at in Cairo etc. When do you find those out? After you book? It would be nice to be able to check out the hotel before I get there? I'm just a bit confused on how he accommodations actually work. Any info on this would be great :)

hey ! ill be doing the egypt tour on nov10th.
the tour starts at 7pm so accomodation is booked already for that night which is at the Victoria Hotel.
All accomodation for the tour is included and organised and will be given in detail when they said you the pack.
If you arrive on the day the tour starts, a Contiki representative can pick you up from the airport.
I’m getting there on nov9th and I’ve organised to stay at the Victoria Hotel just to make things easier.- 0 people like this
