  We’re book for the tour on the 24th November. We have elected to stay at the hotel from where the tour starts which is the Victoria Hotel (check it out on trip advisor – seems decent). Getting to the hotel from the airport will be your responsibility as the tour starts at the hotel. Hope this helps :)

  I did the Ultimate European plus Egypt tour which goes to where you go on your tour. Don’t worry about the Hotels they were all really good. I was a bit nervous about the quality of the rooms as it is Egypt but all were good. Some had rooms that the showers had not very good pressure but hey you are only there to sleep and so it is not biggy. Food was really good everywhere as well. We were a bit nervous to start but nobody on our trip got “King Tut’s Butt” until the last day as brushed teeth with tap water. Make sure you brush teeth with bottled water as well as only drinking it. Our Guide Hazem was awesome and he even gave us bottled water everyday. Have fun!!!

  Hey all,

  Thanks for your answers. I dd contact Contiki and they let me know the hotel is the Victoria Hotel, and that there are transfers to and from the airport based on the time your flights arrives, so I won’t have to take a cab by myself or anything!

  I signed up for the November 9 – 17 trip! So excited!

I thought I was the only brave one (no one could afford it or get it off work). Nazreen is that Auckland, TX? I’m from Phoenix AZ. Looking forward to it as well :)
