Europe discovery (winter) clothes

Hello, I'll be going on the European discovery next march and I was wondering how cold does it usually get around that time? I got myself a really warm jacket. But I wear a lot of dresses and skirts and dont often wear pants(lol). When it's cold here in Australia I usually either double up in stockings or buy really thick ones. Of course I'll bring a pair of jeans for those freezing cold days and I hear it's usually snowing in Austria. But I'm wondering if that would be enough? How cold does it usually get around Europe?
