I've been surfing the internet, and it looks like there are blinds on the bus?

Do we HAVE to put those down? If I'm awake, I want to look out the window and see the scenery!

Hmmmm- I’ve been on a bus tour before, my guess is that you don’t have to pull em down. However, tourmates might be trying to catch some sleep in the daytime (booo on em), and may ask you to pull em down Frowner<!--graemlin::(-->

i just got back from a trip
and they NEVER made us pull them down.
sometimes a person would while they where sleeping so they wouldnt smudge the window but that was it.

BTW … they are draw curtains … and not pull down shades.

Just make sure you get the window seat!!
I usually took it and made my seatmate take the aisle since I was normally awake and liked to enjoy the scenery and take the odd picture.

One day I decided to be nice and let her take the window, only to have her close the curtain immediately so she could sleep. I was soooo mad! Let’s just say I did not make the mistake of being nice again!

Each set of seats has its own window so if you want your curtain open you can have it open and if other people want theirs shut they can, either doesnt really effect the other people on the bus much, plus if having the curtains open bothers them they can wear a mask! Keep them open, you see so much its amazing! Be ready for Lake Como, you only get a second & i missed it Frowner<!--graemlin::(--> so be wide awake & ready to snap!

Then you’d be SOL. It always amazed me about the whole closing the curtains thing. I came all that way to SEE Europe!

PS Lake Como is in Italy.

A tip for seating! – we sat on the left side of the bus almost opposite the back door on the bus, so with my curtain open & the window above the back door (not having a curtain to be closed) you always got views both sides of the bus! Most people on our trip didnt really shut the curtains & if they did we all crammed to the windows that had them open!!
The TM will announce when you are coming up to Lake Como so you’ll get a chance to be ready, its supposed to be gorgeous so im sad that i missed it – somehow! Enjoy your trip Benji, Euro Discovery is an awesome time! i went on the exact same one (date) this time last year!!
