Hey there, although I haven’t been on this particular tour before, I have been on a few Contiki’s and been to Italy in Winter.
1. Although Italy is not as cold as more Northern countries is still pretty cold in Winter (Dec/Jan) as in jackets ect.
2. You’d probably be better off with a suitcase in case you buy stuff and need more luggage space.
3. I know on all the tours I’ve done we have had to make our own way to the hotel where the tour starts, Would assume this is the same here but just check with whoever you booked your tour through.
