I have a silk sleeping bag – it is made for warmer climates. Is this enough or do we need a proper sleeping bag?

It looks like your tour is a time out tour. You should be staying in hotels. So no i don’t think you would need a sleeping bag. Blankets should be provided.

Ok…quick question about the sleeping bag situation. I am going on the European Whirl on Aug 3rd, my travel package says I need a sleeping bag and towel which is fine. Now I read on one of these posts that if you are from Canada or US (I’m from Canada)they give you a coupon to trade for a sleeping bag but I didn’t get one. In my travel info from Contiki it says you can buy sleeping bags and towels from the Contiki Basement…does anyone know how much they cost?

In the past they did give American’s and I think Canadians sleeping bags. I would call Contiki direct (or have your travel agent call) if you didn’t get a voucher. They should be able to issue a voucher if you should have received one or have voucher for you to pick up in London.
As for the time out tours you do NOT need a sleeping bag.- 0 people like this
