Swiss Francs a better deal?

A co-worker, who's family is Swiss, told me to definitely go with the CHF vs the EURO for Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
I was just checking the exchange rate on $1 CDN against the GBP (0.47) and EURO (0.70). I looked up the Swiss Franc and $1 CDN gets $1.10 CHF.
Are the prices in Switzerland and Liechtenstein in EURO or CHF? Is the CHF really a better deal in those countries?
