WILD WESTERN ALL THE THNIGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

First things first our trip began from LAX stepping of the plane after little sleep but with massive expectations and full wallets we were ready to tackle our adventure we had been waiting for some months. NB ( i did mention a lack of sleep just remember how tired you are at the moment you step off te plane and i dare you to compare it to that of the fatigue you will experience on the bus after vegas post 2 days of the most hectic party life in the world.
Anyway, so arrival to LAX you will collect your baggage and soon ask yourself wether the pilot of your flight accidently landed in Mexico, everything is in spanish from the newspaper stand to the lonely food stall central to the baggage pickup point, from here you are going to want to move and move quickly you will soon be innundated with people wanting to offer you advice you will think that they are being really nice and they are but there advice isn;t the free kind, which i forgot to mention if you havn't already got a wallet full of US cash and alot of one dollar notes( your saving grace trust me) you are going to need to get them! From there get your hopefully light bags, pack light, 10kg-12kg's??? i know that seems a almost impossible and unachievable task but humour me ladies pack light because if the exchange rate stays the way it is at the moment( 93.45 US cents to 1 AUS dollar) then you are going to have the little shoppaholic that resides deep in your brains cortex winded, wounded and weeping, trust me i think the most monney i saw spent by one female on our trip was around $6,000 head thy warning you will be buying more luggage bags, the prices seem to be synonymous with extortion, but none the less you have been warned. So once you have this sed light luggage, lug it around unitl you see a super shuttle stand you will see some guy/girl decked out in blue attire who will have the super shuttle logo written all over him, tell him where your going and he will sort the rest, I think we waited for about 5 mins before we were whisked off in a crammed blue bus to Anaheim. It took almost 1 hour and 23 minutes, Almost!~, to get to Anaheim and we went via compton and yes it is exactly like the movies but picture a little more dirty, anyway if you are lucky enought to get a bus that is packed like a can of sardines and you some how miraculously avoid LA traffic it shouldnt take to long to get to the Best Westen in Anaheim, it is directly across the road frm disney land. Pay the Man $15 plus and a couple bucks worth of a tip, if you are from a country where by tips are not the norm don't get annoyed by this US custom it will in the end cost you a fair more than you initially anticipated but it can be very advantageous when you get to bars and clubs in America as you will be most likely served before most and they will look for you not the other way around, about the only thing that will have you served infront of the female type( boys)
Only advice that i offer don't start tipping like crazy at the start, you will end up poorer then you will want to be and have not much to show for as well as that US money is all the same colour there is no remarkable difference between a hundred and a one, e.g my mate was tipping $20 for dinner one night because he thought it to be the best burger he had ever seen( every burger is the best he has ever seen) and new little about the new custom of tipping, needless to say he was getting a little bit to liberal and now nurses a deep regret tipping so much so early on, particularly when there is places which i will mention further along that you will want to tip and then some, not because you have to but cause you will want to, ahummmm VEGAS.
Anyway The Best Western in Anaheim is comfy and it is in fairly good approximation to restaurants and a few bars for a couple of quite ones i recommend on getting a few people form the tour you just met in the meeting that will occur around 7 the nght before the tour starts because you are about to spend the next 2 weeks with them and you will wish you met some people 10 years before then as opposed to one night before you actually do, my advice don't get to pissed just yet the 1st night in San Diego is a doozy! rhymes with 2 dollar vodka red bulls and a mechanical bull so try eaze up meet some new people or recharge your long life energizer for the next 2 weeks of cheap tricks, loose nights, beautiful scenery, even better people. I will endeavour to add the next additon to my contiki story in the nexy couple of days so check it and hit me back if you have any queries cause i wish i read something similiar to this before i started it. Later Animals!( contiki term for crazy people who love having too good of a time which is a term of endearment i assure you!)
HOT TIPS!!!!!!!!!
Best Wetsern has a Gym
American prices have not been added on with rax so expect a slightly higher price when purchasing goods its regulated by the governent which runs it in relation to its location so there will not be any uniformity in its rate expect about 7-8%
US toilets are really full of water really full so dont be to alarmed when using them( it will become alot more apparent after your first rendez vous this peculiar porcelain beast)
The sand box small bar and grill down the road a couple of block on the left has a mean pizza but my suggetsion start off trying to eat healthy lol because you wont have a choice in some places. I am led to believe there is some really nice places to eat within disneyland itself at least the food restauranty part, Sports bar and grill??.
OH i almost forgot if you are like me and would rather have Coffee running through a IV giving set some morning get used to the idea that coffee in America is less than to be desired most of it is brewed and rarely has milk available to add to it they have stuff called creamer which is slightly different half cram halff milk??? lets just say if you want a coffee it will usually mean a little bit of detctive work or a lucky break at a Starbucks.
ANyway will leave more, to what i believe to be healthy sound advice later on, which will be pertinent to people from all walks of life from red light singles, to couples of hineymoons to reckless singles that glow in the dark green when out on the cheap super strong drinks, or the Dad with 1 kid one on the way, red light that flickers orange when he is drunk.
NB redlight- Taken not on contiki to pick up/yet
Orange/amber- yet to pick??? or has a bf at home and doesnt want to cheat but still wants to be notcied or who just is looking for the right someone.
Green- Is a self confessed usually singley who enjoys all the perks that coincided with this status... HAve fun wait for my next addition, P.S.S start a calendar for the countdown its rewarding when you get to the last day!!
