Travel Money for South America?

Hi,

I was wondering what people do to access money whilst travelling in South America? When I was in Europe I just used ANZ Travel Cards where I could load money onto it and withdraw money from any ATMs over there, but non of the Australian banks seem to do them for Argentina or Brazil.

So has anyone been to either of these countries before and what did you do for money?
