should i take my laptop? has anyone before?

now i know you are all going to say that there is internet access just about everywhere you go and that i understand completely.
i was actually wondering whether to take my laptop with me for the time i have in between and after the 2 tours i am doing.
i am flying via singapore to egypt (doing the 9 day tour)
then i am making my way to london and staying there for a week. from there i am doing the 22 day european vista. then after that i have about another month of traveling.
i was wondering in your guys opinions as to whether you think i should take my laptop with me? also IF i do take it whilst im on the tours is there anywhere i can leave it? either at the airport in a security locker or is there something similar at the beginning of the tour where i might possibly be able to leave it?
has anyone taken their laptop on tour before?
im not 100% i want to take it or not, because i know its a big security risk. so im asking your opinions.
