I'm going on the grand adventurer and only have expandable suitcases. They are soft shell not hard and everyone else I know also only has expandable cases. They do not expand much - will this be a problem? I'm not planning to expand them during the trip as I prefer to try to pack light. It is just an extra zip around the outside of the suitcase - how strict are they on the non-expandable part?

If it resembles anything like a suitcase or backpack, then no worries… bring it. Big Grin<!--graemlin::D-->

“Non-Expandable” is like a posted speed limit – no one follows it.

Thanks heaps for that. I didn’t think it would be a problem but it is written everywhere and there was no one I could borrow one from that didn’t have an expandable one.

    Can’t wait to go!
