a friend of mine said the most necessary item to take was a good jacket - eg a 3/4ish one. but this seriously almost fills my entire suitcase - any advice on this? should i just get a polafleece zip up jacket from somewhere like kathmandu? what does everyone else think?

    Hey ladies –
It depends on what time of the year you are planning on going of course. If you do need to take a jacket, you could try packing it in one of those bags that you can roll up and squeeze the air out of.
