  You need visas for both. For Turkey you can just get in at the border, if you are aussie it is about 45euro (from memory). For Egypt you have to get it before you go, go to this site to get https://www.tollvisasdirect.com/.

  The latest info on visas for turkey say its best to have 60 American dollars. They like American cash for some reason?? Sometimes they will also make it cheaper if you pay cash. You just have to be lucky though!
