Finally tracked down metro info from airport to Madrid for Spanish Spree Oct. 2

It seems you can take the metro from the Madrid airport to a stop that's 10 minutes walk (300 yards, say some) from the Hotel Praga where the tour meets. Looking at the metro map, that would be taking the #8 line (pink) to the #10 line (blue) [getting off at the Nuevos Ministerios to transfer to the 10]. Take #10 to the #5 (light green) stop--called Alonso Martinez. Stay on #5 to the Marques de Vadillo stop, which is two stops or so after the Acacias stop. Hotel Praga is apparently an across the street and around the corner walk from the metro.

I'd prefer the bus so that I can see more sights, but the metro should be a cool adventure too. It's cheaper and more fun than a taxi.
